Located just across from Gruene Hall, Gruene Antique Company offers 6,500 sq. ft. of antiques, collectibles, gifts and decor in a stunning Texas Landmark Building.
The building was built in 1903 by Henry D. Gruene as a place where tenant farmers could buy their wares and do business on the weekends. Today, Gruene Antique Company encompasses the large center room of the building which once held the dry goods for sale, and the east wing which houses Gruene's original bank vault. In business since 1986, this large antique mall is a popular destination for antiquers and browsers alike. The west wing of the "H.D. Gruene" building was once the post office, and was converted in March of 2009 to house Mozie's Bar & Grill. Mozie's offers great food, a full bar, and eight big screen HD TV's. We invite you to visit us here in Gruene, Texas. Shop the Gruene Antique Company and the 30+ other shops here in Gruene, grab a bite at Mozie's or the Gristmill, then head over to Gruene Hall for one of their nightly shows! Only in Gruene! |
